At To Rom og Kjøkken (Two Rooms and Kitchen), classic craftsmanship meets ingredients from Trøndelag and the rest of Norway.
The menu follows the seasons, and each evening is shaped by the best ingredients on offer.
You can come for a full evening with several courses and a customized drinks package, or for a glass of good drink from our rich drinks menu and some carefully selected dishes.
The most important thing for us is that you lower your shoulders and let the evening provide the experience you deserve.
20 years of passion
Since To Rom og Kjøkken opened in 2005, the restaurant has been run by the Hildonen family, together with Alexander Skjefte.
Over the years, thousands of guests have shared evenings, celebrations and great meals with us.
Our philosophy remains the same: seasonal ingredients, classic techniques and warm hospitality.

Our food
With us, everything starts with the raw materials.
We work closely with producers in Trøndelag and the rest of Norway, and let the seasons determine what ends up on the menu.
You can sit back and enjoy a 3-, 5- or 7-course menu put together by our chefs, or stop by for something good from our à la carte menu.
Everything we serve is the same: balanced flavors, respect for the ingredients and classic techniques.
Our wine
Our wines are chosen to enhance the food.
We build our wine list around classic wine regions, especially in France, but also draw inspiration from the rest of Europe and the new wine world.
Many wines are available by the glass, so you can easily explore different styles throughout the meal. We also offer a non-alcoholic beverage package, made up of our own juices and local suppliers.
If you want to go even deeper, we regularly arrange wine courses and tastings.
An evening with us
The evening starts as you are welcomed at the door.
From there, we guide you through a menu that follows the season. From the first small dishes to dessert and coffee. Some choose a wine package, others explore the wine list together with our waiters. The pace is leisurely, the atmosphere warm, and the experience is allowed to take its time.
