Velkommen til oss

At To Rom og Kjøkken, we serve first-class ingredients from the region of Trøndelag, inspired by the tradition of Mediterranean cuisine. Here you can sit back and enjoy a 3-, 5- or 7-course tasting menu put together by our chefs – or stop by for something good from our á la carte menu. The menu follows the different seasons, so you always get the flavors of the season at its best.

A family business
Ever since To Rom og Kjøkken opened in 2005, the restaurant has been run by the Hildonen family, together with Alexander Skjefte. Roar has been at the forefront as general manager all the way, and a few years later his wife Hege joined the administrative side. Today we are also extra proud that the son in the house, Eskil, has become head chef in the restaurant, together with Andreas Sørlie Trøjgaard.

ERG 2022
We are the proud host of the Europe Region of Gastronomy Trondheim – Trøndelag 2022. We mainly use exquisite raw ingredients from first-class producers in Trøndelag.

Food and beverages in combination

Attend our wine courses with dinner, the winemaker’s dinner, order a wine tasting for your group, or join the bus on a beer safari with a visit to three breweries.

Food course

Choose between different food courses where our guests cook with the chef, and enjoy a menu together afterwards, or order “show & tell” for larger groups.

Gift card

Our gift cards can be used for a good experience in the restaurant, at one of our events or at food courses. You choose the value- the recipient chooses their experience.

Private function rooms

We have several function rooms for your private party both inhouse and in other locations. Elegant, industrial, informal and venerable – which can easily be tailored to your needs.
